*This week learners will have Ancient Civilizations as a topic, they will write the texts; Ancient Rome, Ancient Greece, Ancient Egypt, and Ancient Aztek solve questions in past and make oral presentations.
Ancient Rome
Ancient Rome was a civilization that existed in
Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East between 753 BC and its downfall in AD
476. For several centuries, the Romans controlled the whole of Western Europe,
as well as the entire area surrounding the Mediterranean Sea and some of the
area surrounding the Black Sea. Religion in ancient Rome combined several
different cult practices and embraced more than a single set of beliefs. The
main Roman currency during most of the Roman Republic and the Roman Empire
consisted of coins including: the aureus.
Activities
a) Learners will copy the texts (4 civilizations in total)
b) Learners will solve a series of questions:
*Where was Ancient Rome located?
*How was Ancient Rome's religion?
c)Studenst read these information and make the above questions to their partners.
Oral Presentation:
Learners solve the above questions; Where was Ancient Rome located?, How was Ancient Rome's religion? and How was Ancient Rome's Currency?. The students prepare these questions as an oral presentation, and present the information to their classmates.
