ECO-TOURISM: tourism directed toward exotic, often threatened, natural environments, especially to support conservation efforts and observe wildlife.

SESSION 1:

Ecotourism States in the USA:
 Ecotourism in the United States represents a large proportion of the tourism industry. Tourism in general in America is a crucial industry in many states, thus ecotourism initiatives are important to the overall sustainability of this country's tourism industries. Some good places for ecotourism in the United States include: 1) Texas; Texas is also the best state for bird-watching, and some of the best bird-watching in the state can be found in the Lower Rio Gran, you can also visit the Texas’ Parks of  Wildlife, also you can travel to natural areas that conserves the environmental, social and cultural values while generating an economic benefit to the local community.2) Maine: if you go to Maine, don’t forget  to  visit the  Inn By The Sea, in Cape Elizabeth, not only but also there is the possibility to  swim in a pool made of recycled materials, and visit the Appalachian Mountain Club; where you can walk through the  100-Mile Wilderness region.3)New York: It is a lovely place and there is a lot of activities to do; eat in a Green Certified Restaurants is a good idea, also To round out the New York ecotourism experience; you can use eco-friendly transportation optionssuch as rent a  carbon-offsetting car.
